Google Cardboard - reticle intercept position

Hello

I am using googles CardboardReticle prefab, part of the Unity cardboard SDK, and I would like to get the position at which the reticle intersects any object it sees.

I don't want the objects position I want the ray intersect position as the object could be quite large.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?
