Cardboard-Having a VR Toggle UI Button work even when using GazeInput

Hi everyone, my Cardboard application has a VR mode and a non-VR mode, when in VR mode the user interacts with UI in world space via a gaze input module attached to the EventSystem, when in Non VR mode the user interacts with UI using the standalone input module. I am using a standard UI Button on a screen space canvas to toggle between these 2 modes however once in VR mode I can no longer click this button as the standalone input is superseded by the gaze input module. Any idea how how to...
