SteamVR: Re-orient player to teleport target surface

I'm working on a game that takes place in a space station, so the gravity-based teleport system used by the default SteamVR Teleporting system isn't really helpful. I need to be able to

  1. Allow the player to point the teleport pointer straight up
  2. Re-orient the player so that their feet end up on whatever surface they teleport to
I've looked through the Teleporting script but I'm not sure what to modify (I'm familiar with C# but not with the SteamVR API). Help?
