Questions about 360 Video in Cardboard/GearVR - scaling and flipping

I'm working on a 360 app for GearVR. The client sent a video, it's not 3D, just regular flat video. I play it using GVR Video Texture script and a sphere, just like how they setup the example scene.

Two main problems:
  1. The video is mirrored. I tried setting texture tiling to -1 but that didn't work, it took the left most pixels and smeared them around the sphere.
  2. Your perceptive feels tiny and people in the video seem like giants.
Is there any way to solve these...
